A beautiful afternoon, on a flowery, cozy terrace was the perfect setting for an informal introduction to embroidery. Our participants forged valiantly ahead in their efforts to adorn their hankies with floral designs in the Brazilian style. Kudos to our instructor, Harneet!
10 strangers, gathered together in a basement dance studio...it sounds like the prologue to a Hollywood thriller! But this was just the case when instructor, Bhargavi guided our participants in an exploration of how their mind and creativity connects with their body.
Ahead of the festive season, our instructor Chesta showed participants how to create intricate paper flowers from just paper, glue, scissors and an eye for detail. The results were surprisingly life-life!
Who would've thought that a 2 hour discussion on composting could be fun?! Well our enthusiastic and engaging instructor, Samuel, met his match in our equally enthusiastic and curious audience. Samuel explained all aspects of home composting, fielded all sorts of questions and even built a custom compost system in-situ!
Our instructor, Naveen led a messy, dirty but ultimately fun and satisfying session on how to make a terrarium. The end products, as the pics show, were really beautiful and Naveen of thegreenmachines.in also gave the participants a special surprise - 'Bio Bottles'!
We had a great turnout for this Sunday evening workshop covering a fairly serious and grim topic. Luckily our participants were enthusiastic and fun! Our instructor Surabhi showed us some harsh realities but also what simple things we can do to reduce our personal waste impact.
As promised, the talented Swati Dhuli was back for a second event! And the event was as good as the first one, if not better. The participants learnt sketching techniques and used them to draw a beautiful pencil sketch to take back home. An afternoon well spent!
In this exciting DIY workshop, hosted in a cool terrace apartment in GK, Delhi, Prateek Jain aka TheDelhiBotanist explained the basics of hydroponics to our participants and helped them create their first hydroponics kit from re-used plastic bottles. We had a brilliant time and are expecting the first batch of clean, pesticide free lemon basil from this workshop to grow very soon!
In this exciting workshop, Bodhiroom co-founder, Nakul Gupta, decided to don the instructor hat, and share his poker knowledge and experience. Our participants were lovely, inquisitive AND ....... competitive! We ended this session with a poker tournament, where the participants took on each other to win a coveted gift hamper. Check out our pics from this event!
What a workshop this was! Honestly we had no idea how 'Home Styling with Shivani' would flow as an event since it's such a different concept and our first event at someone else's living room. But when you have an instructor as thoughtful as Shivani a.k.a. @the_usual_blahs and lovely, engaged participants, there's scope for a lot of learning and enjoyment.
With rain pouring down on Delhi like cats and dogs, we almost rescheduled this event! Yet, miraculously, we had a full house for our bottle art event...and art it was indeed! We were blown away and it's all thanks to our brilliant instructor Yashmita. Trust us, if you want a sweet, personal gift for someone or just want a personal touch for your house, check out Yashmita's venture Quack Bottles.
This event held a lot of 'firsts' for Bodhiroom - our first event in Delhi, our first event held outside a living room, our first event with an instructor who we didn't know for more than a month! Swati Dhuli's sketching event at Kunzum Travel Cafe turned into a tremendous success with a packed house knuckling down to replicate one of two beautiful images. Swati will be back for round two!
We always knew Improv is fun, however this Bodhiroom event was a blast beyond imagination! Thanks to a truly amazing set of participants and our talented instructor, Nautankibaaz Improv Comedy's founder, Ankur Sardana. Close to 3 hours of unadulterated fun and high quality learning.
In Bodhiroom's 'Experiment with Podcast', a diverse and very interesting set of participants shared funny, insightful and personal stories with each other. It was amazing to see this delightful group come together!
In this exciting Bodhiroom event, seasoned poker player , Ankit Bhura, conducted a walk-through of the basics, tips, and tricks of this immensely popular card game. Interestingly - a few of our participants were headed to casinos in Southeast Asia right after this event. We hope they came back richer!
In this event full of colors, learning & chilling, Bodhiroom's experienced instructor, Sukriti Grover, guided keen participants to create their own masterpieces by combining various 'hatke' media (e.g. papers, fabrics, strings) with traditional paint & canvas.
